Sydney--Darling Harbour
We had an early evening flight out of Sydney which left just enough time to do something but not a lot of anything. We killed some time at Darling Harbor, which was right across the street from our rental apartment. The boys were promised that this would not be a "Museum Trip" but we didn't say anything about Botanical Gardens (ha!), and they have "enjoyed" quite a few, including today's offering: the Chinese-Australian Friendship Garden. We also took in the LegoMan exhibit at the convention center and enjoyed Betty's Burgers and Concrete Co. before shoving off for the airport.

Weather's great, wish you were here...
Landed in Honolulu. Took a giant nap. Red Eye from Sydney really took it out of us. Back in action tomorrow.

Sydney--Blue Mountains National Park
Today we headed out on a excursion to Blue Mountains National Park--so named because the evaporated oil from the Eucalyptus trees gives the valley a Blue Haze (their own Smoky Mountains phenomenon). It's centered around a huge valley that is something like the Grand Canyon.
